Not All Gods Are Created Equal
In a time long before those that would worship Gods, was a time where Gods Of Gods,
The Anunnaki
Ruled all, whose Might and Reach commanded such Power as to wield lesser Gods, known as the Igigu

These lesser Gods too possessed power beyond imagination. However, the Strength, or Mana
they gained from those that they create must be shared with the Anunnaki

Those Igigu that persevere against the rivalry of other Igigu, conquering all 6 realms, would attain
Final Ascension To rise to their rightful place amongst the Anunnaki. |

When an Igigu is summoned into existence, as with all Gods, the stars align and a new constellation is born
This constellation reflects the God`s own design and exists for all to see within the Heavens
In order for the Igigu to gain Mana for themselves and the Anunnaki, a planetary body is bought into existence.
This planetary body is divided into 6 Realms, with each Realm unlocking when the Igigu gain Realm Ascension

Each Igigu possesses the power to manipulate energy and matter, through the Aegis
The Igigu use the Aegis to focus their energy, see their Realm Ascension standing and Mana |

Igigu can shape the very planet with the Aegis

The Igigu possess many powers, increasing as each Realm Ascension is attained.
Guardians can be summoned to protect the Sumer
Asteroid strikes can be summoned with enough Mana

As Igigu ascend, their power grow exponentially

some powers are summoned by using the Aegis, others require single or double Rune invocation
|
Igigu can also influence physical objects by means of a spiritual tether |

This tether can move or destroy objects and even control the Sun itself. |

The Sumer are the entities the Igigu breath life into. In return, they furnish the Igigu with Mana through trust and loyalty
It is the purpose of the Igigu to nurture, protect and ensure the Sumer flourish

As each Realm is unlocked the Anunnaki bestow a number of LifeRocks to the Igigu
LifeRocks are placed by the Igigu and provide Life Energy to the Sumer, without which they would perish
Planetary Ascension allows an Igigu to survey all they have created from the Heavens
With insufficient Mana, an Igigu could not ascend and instead would be bound to the surface
Ascending to the heavens
As with all things, the birth of a new planet brings the Light and the Darkness with it

A PC standalone & VR multiplayer cross-over game inspired by the love of Populous & Black & White with a dash of Battleship like gameplay and the fascination of an ant farm all in VR (or standalone) running on a purpose built engine.

Sometime ago, I presented a game idea to Lionhead while working there showing some early tech I had created, luckily we got the chance to try prototyping it but due to other work priorities and the ultimate sad demise of Lionhead Studios, this project was soon stopped. Since then this has been my lunchtime & weekend passion project and now has both my sons contributing to it in both writing & design.
Also with the advent of VR, this project became even more driven, as a passion, but also a way to involve my children in the game development process, something they are both passionate to get into. We are aiming to get an early access standalone PC & VR multiplayer version out this year and you can follow our progress on our twitter feed below, unlikely going to make a lot of money but just for the fun & experience of doing it.
